Montreat, NC - The Lady Scots scored just once in their tie with fellow AAC member Montreat College Tuesday afternoon, but the goal was a big one. Scoring her first college goal, sophomore defender Aubrey Brown was able to put one past Montreat goalkeeper Sarah McGuirt to provide the Covenant with their only offense for the match. Despite outshooting the Lady Cavaliers 16-5 over the course of regulations and game's two overtime periods, the Lady Scots couldn't find a way to pull out the win.

Covenant is now 5-3-2 overall with a 2-1-2 record in the AAC. They will travel to Athens, TN for their next match against another conference foe, Tennessee Wesleyan College, taking place on Tuesday, October 7 at 5:00 PM.
