Lookout Mountain, GA - In their biggest win of the season, the Scots knocked off the Cincinnati Christian University Eagles Tuesday evening. Setting a season-high for goals scored and shutting out their opponents, the Scots had what was easily their most dominating performance so far this year.
The Scots got offensive contributions from a number of players, including goals from five different players. Sophomore forward Julian Allgeier, who scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute, finished the games with two goals and an assist. Junior midfielder Luke McCaslin had two goals himself, while junior forward Ford Quarterman chipped in with a goal and an assist.
Covenant improves to 3-4-2 overall on the season with a 2-2 record in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. They will look to continue the momentum when they play Lee University Saturday October 4th at 7:00 PM in Cleveland, TN.
