Cleveland, TN - One game after scoring seven goals against Cincinnati Christian University, the Scots were shut out by host Lee University Saturday evening. The Lee freshman showed up for the Flames in the match, with first-year players accounting for all of the scoring. Forward Mark Behan and midfielder Jonathan Moody each scored goals for the home team, while sophomore forward Nathan Brown had two assists. Despite the loss, Covenant freshman goalkeeper John Eger had a solid day with four saves.
The Scots have seen many ups and downs over their past five matches, either shutting out their opponents or getting shut out in each of them. Their next match takes place at home against Brewton Parker College on Wednesday, October 8th at 4:30 PM.
