Bristol, TN - The Lady Scots lost this morning to the AAC's top team, King College. Playing in their sixth straight road match and coming off a match versus Virginia Intermont just last night, Covenant couldn't find a way to win against last year's Appalachian Athletic Conference runner-up. The Lady Tornado, now 7-1 in the AAC, proved they are a tough team to beat at home, improving to 5-1 in Bristol. Losing the first game of the match by a score of 16-25, the Lady Scots were able to shorten the deficit in each ensuing game, losing game two 19-25 and game three 20-25, but weren't able to pick up any wins. Covenant now holds an overall record of 7-8, while they drop to an even 4-4 in conference. Playing at home for the first time in nearly three weeks, the Lady Scots will return to Lookout Mountain to take on rival Bryan College this Tuesday, September 30 at 7:00 PM.
