Bristol, TN - In a tightly contested match against the King College Lady Tornado, the Lady Scots couldn't come out on top this afternoon. Scoring on one of their four corner kicks, the Lady Tornado managed to get the victory, improving to 3-0 in the AAC, despite a 4-5 mark overall. And although they put forth a strong defensive effort, the Lady Scots struggled to get things going on the offensive side, managing just one shot over the course of the match. And while King managed just four shots themselves, their one goal proved to be the deciding factor. "It was a close match. They just ended up getting the goal they needed on the corner (kick)" said head coach Mark Duble after the loss. The Lady Scots fell to 4-3-1 overall with a 1-1-1 record in the AAC. Their next game is at home against rival Bryan College Tuesday, September 30 at 5:00.
