Bristol, TN - The Scots, still dealing with injuries, lost to host King College this afternoon by a score of 2-0. Coming off of a tough loss against Bryan, the Scots again couldn't find a way to score, falling to an even .500 in the AAC. A good defensive match overall, the game went into halftime scoreless. Things would change, however, as the Tornado would score on a penalty kick in the 67th minute. King would later seal the win by scoring with just five minutes remaining in the match. "We had several chances early but couldn't get it done" said coach John Miglarese following the match. The loss drops Covenant to 2-4-2 overall and gives them a 2-2 record in the AAC. The Scots will next face off against Cincinnati Christian University at home in a non-conference matchup taking place Tuesday, September 30 at 7:00 PM.
