Richmond, KY - The Scots lost an exhibition game against the Colonels of Eastern Kentucky University this evening, 53-90. Led in scoring again by senior guard Reed Crosson, who had sixteen points, the Scots got just one other significant offensive contribution in the game which was that of freshman guard J.R. Avery, who finished with fourteen points despite shooting just 5-17. Avery had another solid game on the defensive end also, picking up three steals after tallying six in Covenant's previous game against Milligan College. Senior forward Chris Hall was a force on the boards, collecting twelve rebounds and finishing in double figures in that category for the first time since the Scots' second game of the year.

Being an exhibition game, the Scots' record remains at 1-10. They will travel to South Carolina to take on Charleston Southern University on Saturday, December 13th at 7:00 PM in their last contest before the Christmas break.
