Lookout Mountain, GA - The #5 seeded Scots upset the #4 seeded Milligan College Buffaloes today in the first round of the 2008 Appalachian Athletic Conference men's soccer tournament. Winning by a score of 2-1, Covenant edged Milligan to advance to the semi-finals, to be played Friday, November 7th, where they will take on the #1 seeded Bryan College Lions after their win over Bluefield. On the other side of the bracket, #2 King College will take on #3 Montreat College with the winners of each match advancing to the tournament final which will take place on Saturday, November 8th.

Regarding the Scots' play in the win, head coach John Miglarese said, "We battled hard tonight. We scored some critical goals and we played well."
