Lookout Mountain, GA - The Scots took a one point lead into halftime but struggled in the second half, falling to King College, 84-71. Implementing a full court press in the second half, the Tornadoes forced a number of turnovers as Covenant committed 24 on the night.
Leading the Scots individually was senior forward Chris Hall who finished with twenty points and eleven rebounds. He had a good night defensively as well by adding three steals and two blocks. Senior Reed Crosson scored seventeen points on 5-9 shooting and 4-7 from three point range, freshman J.R. Avery scored ten points in just thirteen minutes of action before fouling out of the game and fellow freshman Matt Taylor had another good game rebounding the ball, pulling down ten on the night.
The Scots fall to 0-2 on the year and are now 0-1 in the AAC. They will take on Berry College at home in their next game on Tuesday, November 4th at 8:00 PM.
