Dayton, TN - After losing to the Lady Lions of Bryan College earlier this season, the Lady Scots were seeking revenge Tuesday evening in Dayton. They couldn't get it, however, as they finished the year against their rivals with an 0-2 record.
Losing in four games, Covenant got a number of solid individual performances, but it didn't translate to a win as Bryan won games one and two by scores of 25-17 and 25-20 and game four by a score of 25-16 after the Lady Scots took the third by a score 25-18.
Freshman Erica Adams had eleven kills while fellow freshman Jessie Jakes and sophomore Shea McBee each had nine of their own. Freshmen Katrina Unglaub (20) and Emily Stewart (15) and juniors Claudia Canales (15) and Joanna McGill (12) all finished with double-digit digs. McGill also added fifteen assists while freshman Kristin Dahlstrand finished with 22 assists.
The Lady Scots are now 12-13 overall and 8-8 in the AAC. They will travel to Johnson City, TN for their next match where they will take on the Lady Buffaloes of Milligan College.
