Lookout Mountain, GA - The Lady Scots made short work of the Virginia Intermont College Lady Cobras this morning in Lookout Mountain. To say that the Lady Cobras are having a rough season is an understatement. Coming into Saturday's match-up, they were winless in 34 matches, and the Lady Scots didn't help matters for them, winning in three games by scores of 25-11, 25-16 and 25-13, respectively.
Individually, freshman Erica Adams led the Lady Scots in kills, picking up nine in the win to go along with three digs. Sophomore Shea McBee added eight kills and junior Joanna McGill and freshman Kristin Dahlstrand each had thirteen assists.
The win puts the Lady Scots even at 12-12 while they hold an 8-7 record in the AAC.
In their next match, Covenant will take on rival Bryan College on Tuesday, October 28th at 7:00 PM in Dayton, TN, where they will look to avenge a loss to the Lady Lions earlier in the season.
