Charlotte, NC - Playing in their first match since finishing AAC regular-season action, the Scots were able to get a big win on the road Tuesday evening. Facing a solid Queens University team and a 1-0 deficit at halftime, the Scots were able to rally and score twice in the second half. Coupled with their good defensive play, it was enough to beat the host Royals.
Senior forward Zach Terrell opened the scoring for the Scots, with his goal that came in the 55th minute. Sophomore forward Julian Allgeier, who picked up the assist on Terrell's goal, scored a goal of his own less than ten minutes later which proved to be the game-winner. Freshman goalkeeper John Eger had a solid match as well, picking up five saves in the win.
The Scots are now 7-6-2 overall on the year. The next match on the schedule for them is at home against Asbury College on October 25th at 1:00 PM.
