Montreat NC- The Scots entered the contest in the midst of a fierce battle for the AAC regular season championship. Standing at 4 and 2 in conference play the Scots needed to pin a loss on Montreat in order to further their drive for regular season supremacy. The Cavaliers proved to be more than the Scots could handle early scoring three times in the first 15 minutes. Undaunted by the score the Scots battled the balance of the half creating several dangerous chances but were unable to beat the Montreat goal keeper. "The Montreat goal keeper played an extraordinary game against us today". said Coach Miglarese, " We worked hard and created some beautiful opportunities but just couldn't put them away." 

The Scots finished the match down 4-0 and will look to reclaim their winnings ways Tuesday October 21st in Charlotte at Queens College at 6:00 PM
