Biography

Paige returns to Covenant in her senior year as one of the threecaptains leading the Lady Scots this season. Prior to Covenant,Paige played volleyball for Spain Park High School where, in 2008,she was named one of the Top 5 Defensive Players in the BirminghamNews Preseason Outlook. She was also recognized as a ScholarAthlete, named to the All-Academic team, and voted to theAll-South/Hoover post-season team. Paige played club volleyball forthe Alabama Juniors Volleyball Club and Birmingham VolleyballClub.

Her parents are Bob and Karen Cheney. She has a brother,Barrett. When she is not playing volleyball, Paige enjoys baking,wake boarding, and running. One of her favorite Bible verses isIsaiah 40:31 which says, "but those who hope in the Lord will renewtheir strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will runand not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Paige is a Middle Grades Education major with concentrations inMath and Science. She is also minoring in Missions. Aftergraduating from Covenant, she would like to work on the missionfield.
