Kara Lee, from Blaine, Tenn., returns for her senior season with the Lady Scots. Her speed up top has made her a threat to many defensive lines over the course of her time at Covenant, with many of her goals having come at crucial moments in several matches.
Kara's parents are Don and Cindy Lee. She has an older sister, Kristen, and younger brother, Kaleb. In her spare time, Kara LOVES watching women's gymnastics, and attributes her flexibility and good balance to watching girls like Shawn Johnson and Gabby Douglas perform on TV. Kara also enjoys growing, making, and eating fried green tomatoes. Besides her fiance, David Pifer, her dog, Izzy, is her pride and joy! Her favorite Bible passage is Philippians 3:13-14 which says, "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Kara is an Elementary Education major and hopes to teach at an Elementary School for a few years and then start a family.
