Biography

Katie is one of eight freshmen joining the Lady Scots thisseason. Prior to Covenant, Katie played basketball for WestminsterChristian Academy where she was an All-Region selection (So., Jr.,Sr.) and an All-State selection (Sr.).

Her parents are Steve and Dale Tingle. She has four oldersiblings, from oldest to youngest: Jeremiah, Matthew, Caleb, andEmma. When she is not playing basketball, Katie enjoys sleeping,being outside, hanging out with Chandler Shepherd (Lady Scotssoftball player), and spending some time with her other friendstoo. One of her favorite Bible verses is Matthew 5:16 which says,"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they maysee your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Katie is majoring in Biology and minoring in Coaching. Aftergraduating from Covenant, she would like to become a physicaltherapist, an athletic trainer, or a coach.
