Named to USA South All-Academic team
2020 (Sophomore - Stats): Played and started in 10 games... Had five hits with two RBIs and a run scored on the year... Went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk at Emory (March 3)... Also delivered an RBI in a loss to Greensboro (Feb. 28)
2019 (Freshman - Stats): Played and started in all 35 games... Was third on the team with a .327 batting average to go with nine RBIs and eight runs scored... Tied for second on the team with 10 multi-hit games, including two three-hit games... Made collegiate debut and went 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored against nationally-ranked Berry (Feb. 9)... Both of her three-hit games came in a span of four days as she went 3-for-4 with two RBIs in a win over Wesleyan (April 6) and 3-for-3 with an RBI at Maryville (April 10)... Second on the team with 11 walks and tied for the team-lead with seven sacrifice bunts
High School: Attended White House High School... Was a three-time all-district and all-county team member during her career... Also two-time all-area honoree... Finished her high school career with a .478 batting average, .515 on-base percentage and .576 slugging percentage... Spent the last three years as a member of the Nashville Nighthawks 2000... Personal: Parents are Jason and Callie Whitaker... Has two siblings, Jaycee and Jaxon... Cousin, Alley McDonald, is currently a junior on the Southeastern Louisiana softball team...
