In her playing career, Jones was a three-time NFCA All-East Region honoree and a four-time All-MAC Commonwealth selection. She is the Messiah career leader in triples (16) and assists (412) while ranking in the top five in RBIs (124) and stolen bases (62). Jones was the fourth player in Messiah history to achieve 200 career hits as she finished with 218.

She helped Messiah to 142 wins over her four years with three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a runner-up finish in 2016.

In her coaching role with Messiah, Jones had a hand in nearly all softball operations. Prior to joining the staff at Messiah, she was an assistant coach at Dallastown Area High School for one season.

Jones recently played shortstop and center field in the American Softball Association (ASBA) in Mobile, Ala., in the summer of 2019 before currently playing her first season in the NPF (National Pro Fastpitch) with the California Commotion in the summer of 2020.

"What I hope to bring to the Covenant program is my knowledge of what it takes to be a winning program and playing for God's glory," Jones continued. "I look forward to tapping into my experiences to further develop and cultivate our players holistically as well as pursue excellence on the diamond."

Jones graduated from Messiah in 2017 with a degree in health/physical education K-12 and completed her master's degree in intercollegiate athletic leadership from Messiah in May 2021.
