Covenant College

Chelsea comes to Covenant in her freshman year as a strong middle hitter for the Lady Scots. Prior to Covenant, Chelsea played volleyball for Manhattan Christian where she received All-Conference and All-State honors in her junior and senior years.

Her parents are Randall and Elaine VanDyk. She has three older siblings: Erika, Jonathan, and Hanna (played basketball at Dordt College). When Chelsea is not playing volleyball, she enjoys playing basketball and football, reading, and drawing. One of her favorite Bible passages is Psalm 20:7-8 which says, "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm."

Chelsea has not declared a major yet, but is enjoying her classes this semester.
