Covenant College

Reid returns to Covenant as a sophomore catcher for the Scots this season. Prior to Covenant, Reid played baseball for Lowndes High School where he was a recipient of the Defensive Award and also voted a WCTV Student Athlete of the Week.

His parents are David (played baseball at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College) and Amy Pope. He has a younger brother, Cory. When he is not playing baseball, Reid enjoys spending time hiking and playing other sports like Ultimate Frisbee, flag football, and Spikeball. One of his favorite Bible passages is Philippians 1:20-21 which says, "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."

Reid is majoring in Sociology. After graduating from Covenant, he would like to work for a non-profit organization.
