Covenant College

Andrew returns to Covenant as a senior forward for the Scots this season. Prior to Covenant, Andrew played for Elizabethton High School where he was named to the Tennessee All-Region team in his senior season. He also played club soccer for Fusion FC.

His parents are George and Cathy (played tennis for Moody Bible College) Carey. He has an older brother, Benjamin, who played goalkeeper for the University of Chicago. He also has a younger sister, Abigail. When he is not playing soccer, Andrew enjoys playing seventeen instruments, practicing his Taekwondo join lock technique... for self-defense, and making egg rolls while solving Triple Integrals in Cylindrical Coordinates (qualifying for the Math League of America is a common occurance in his family). One of his favorite Bible verses is Micah 6:8 which says, "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Andrew is a Community Development major with minors in Biology and Chemistry. After graduating from Covenant, he plans to attend medical school and thereafter serve the Lord in poor and marginalized populations, integrating community development into healthcare systems.
