Brett Vipperman completed his first season as an assistant coach for head coach Neal Young in 2019-20.

Vipperman was a four-year standout on the hardwood at Mount Vernon Nazarene (NAIA) from 2015-19. The 6-foot-5 guard/forward helped the Cougars to 27 wins in his senior year and a run to the NAIA Tournament round of 16. Vipperman scored 1,702 career points and averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game during his four-year career. As a senior, Vipperman averaged 14.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game en route to being named an NAIA All-America honorable mention.

He was also a four-time All-Crossroads League honoree.

Vipperman earned his bachelor's degree in integrated social studies education from Mount Vernon Nazarene in May of 2019.
