Covenant College

Tyler returns to Covenant this year as a sophomore outfielder for the Scots. Prior to Covenant, Tyler played travel ball for the Chattanooga Cherokees.

His parents are Donald (played baseball for Jacksonville State University and Chattanooga State) and Pam (played tennis for the UTC) Baker. He has an older brother, Nic (played baseball at Maryville College), and a younger sister, Natalie. When he is not playing baseball, Tyler enjoys playing basketball, football, and soccer. He also loves to sing and watch movies. One of his favorite Bible verses is Psalm 27:1 which says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"

Tyler is a Business major with a concentration in Accounting. After graduating from Covenant, he would like to become a CPA and possibly work for a MLB team.
