2016 (Junior): Played in 21 games and made 17 starts, while also appearing on the mound in five games... Started 15 games at third base and two at second base... Batted .283 with 15 runs scored and seven RBIs... Had a career-high three hits and three runs in a win over William Peace (March 26)... Went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs in a win over Piedmont (April 8)... Had five multi-hit games on the year... Threw 4.1 innings on the year with a 2.08 ERA with five strikeouts
2015 (Sophomore): Appeared in 18 games as a pitcher, making one start and going 1-3 on the season... Pitched 34.0 innings and struck out 28 batters... Recorded his first collegiate save in a 9-3 win against Greensboro (April 11) after throwing 3.2 scoreless innings... Had one start on the year coming against Sewanee (April 7)... Picked up the win after tossing the final three innings in the Scots' 4-3 walk-off victory against Methodist (Feb. 14)... Had seven appearances in which he did not surrender a run
2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 10 games as a pitcher, making one start... Went 1-1 on the year in 16.2 innings pitched... First career start came against Sewanee (April 2) and he threw three shutout innings and allowed two hits on 41 pitches... Picked up his first collegiate win at LaGrange (March 29) after going one inning in relief... Also went 1-for-5 with an RBI and a walk at the plate for the season... Named to USA South All-Academic team
High School: Attended North Paulding High School… As a senior, he helped lead his team to a second place finish in the region and earn a trip to the state playoffs for the first time in school history… Batted .339 overall and .354 in region play as a senior… All-County shortstop in 2013, All-County pitcher in 2012… Named team captain as a senior and earned both the Coaches’ Award and Captain’s Award in the same year… Selected to be a part of the Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) at his school in both 2012 and 2013… Won the Paulding County Blue Diamond Scholar Athlete Scholarship for 2013… Graduated with honors.
