2016 (Senior): Made five starts on the year, despite being limited due to injury for much of the season... Went 2-2 with a 4.15 ERA in 26 innings... Allowed just one run on six hits over his first two starts, spanning 14 innings of work, and earned D3baseball.com Team of the Week on Feb. 16 with those numbers... Tossed a three-hit, complete-game shutout with a career-high nine strikeouts in a win over Emory & Henry (Feb. 13)... Was named USA South Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 15 following his complete-game... Struck out 21 batters and walked just four on the year... Made final collegiate outing on Senior Day vs. Piedmont (April 9)... Ends career with a 9-6 record and a 4.75 ERA in 125 innings and limited opponents to a .273 average, fifth-lowet in program history
2015 (Junior): Made 14 appearances and started 10 games... Compiled a 5-3 record, which led the team, with a 4.45 ERA... Struck out a career-high 34 batters on the year... Had a career-high seven strikeouts over five innings of work in a 15-11 win over N.C. Wesleyan (March 28)... Made the start and went seven innings allowing one run on five hits while picking up the win at Ferrum (April 3)... Pitched a total of 58.2 innings in the course of the season, the second most on the team
2014 (Sophomore): Made eight appearances and one start... Threw 11.1 innings and struck out seven for the year... Made the start against Bates (Feb. 18)... Threw three scoreless innings in relief at Berry (April 8)... Went three straight appearances out of the bullpen without allowing a run coming against Greensboro (March 21), Johnson (March 24) and Berry (April 8)
2013 (Freshman): Appeared in 10 games and made two starts… Compiled a 2-1 record with two complete-games and pitched 29.0 innings… Made his only two starts in postseason play, one in the NCCAA Mid-East Regional vs. Tennessee Temple and the other in the NCCAA World Series vs. Campbellsville, and pitched complete-games in both allowing six earned runs in 14 innings of work.
High School: Attended Chattanooga Christian School… Was a part of the 2011 and 2012 7-AA All-District team… Selected to the Chattanooga Times-Free Press Best of Preps third team in 2012.
Personal: Parents are Gary and Tina Paul… Has one sibling, Austin… Favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:35… Majoring in International Studies with a minor in German… Aspires to go to Law school.
