2016 (Senior): Made 12 starts on the year and went 9-3... Earned All-USA South second team honors... Named to ABCA/Rawlings All-South Region second team... Finished with a 3.86 ERA in 86.1 innings of work... Struck out a single-season program record 101 batters to lead the USA South and finish in the top 10 in all of Division III... Led Division III in strikeouts for much of the season... Also set the program's career record for strikeouts with 255... Set a single-season program record with 86.1 innings pitched and also broke the career mark with 272.2 innings... Tossed six complete-games, a program record, including a complete-game shutout over William Peace (March 25) in which he allowed two hits and struck out 11... Was named USA South Pitcher of the Week on March 28 after his complete-game vs. William Peace... Struck out a season-high 12 in seven innings in a win over Emory & Henry (Feb. 12)... Had four double-digit strikeout games and seven with at least nine punch outs... In his final collegiate start, went all nine innings allowing one unearned run on four hits with 11 strikeouts in a win at Methodist (April 23)... Finishes his career as the program's record holder for wins (23), complete-games (13) and tied for most complete-game shutouts (3)... 2015 (Junior): Started seven games and went 2-3 with a 3.42 ERA... Struck out 36 batters, the second most on the team... Started the season opener against Emory & Henry (Feb. 6) and went eight innings allowing one run on five hits with four strikeouts in a 3-1 victory... Followed that performance by going 7.1 innings surrendering one run with six strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Methodist (Feb. 13)... Did not allow an earned run in seven innings of work with seven strikeouts in a 9-2 win at Piedmont (Feb. 20)... Went at least six innings in all seven starts... Four of his seven starts he allowed three earned runs or fewer
2014 (Sophomore): Made 11 starts on the year and went 7-3 with a 3.57 ERA... Was a USA South All-Conference first team selection... Threw a program-record 75.2 innings and registered a team-best 73 strikeouts while limiting opponents to a .255 average... Did not allow a run in first 17.1 innings pitched on the year, a streak that was snapped at Huntingdon (March 8)... Threw a one-hitter in a 2-0 win over Milligan (Feb. 22) in which he struck out 10... Had four starts with 10 or more strikeouts... Tied the program-record with 13 strikeouts in seven innings of work in a 7-6 win at LaGrange (March 29)... Had one 9-inning complete game coming against Ferrum (April 5) when he allowed four hits and one run with nine strikeouts... Was named USA South Pitcher of the Week three times (Feb. 24, April 7, April 28) and was selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week on Feb. 25... Made the start against No. 13 Shenandoah in the NCAA Tournament South Regional opener (May 14)
2013 (Freshman): Compiled a 5-3 record and appeared in 12 games, making 10 starts… Had four complete-games and one shutout… Threw 63.1 innings and struck out 45 while walking just 20… nearly pitched a no-hitter against Ohio Christian (March 9) as he allowed one hit with nine strikeouts in a complete-game shutout
High School: Attended J.W. Mitchell High School… Led his county with a 1.21 ERA… Named team captain and helped lead team to a county championship and two regional appearances… Named to the All-North Sun Coast first team… Finished high school with a 3.7 GPA and was part of his school’s Medical Academy Honor Roll.
