Kyle joins the Scots this season as a freshman infielder. Priorto Covenant, Kyle played baseball for Capistrano Valley Christianwhere he served as team captain (Jr., Sr.), was named to the firstteam All-Conference (So., Sr.), and voted the team's Most ValuablePlayer in his senior season. He also played travel ball with theSouthern California Knights.
His parents are Scott and Lyn Pickell. He has two olderbrothers, Ryan and Tyler, and a younger sister, Kelsy. When he isnot playing baseball, Kyle enjoys going to the beach, spending timewith family and friends, cooking, and reading the Bible. One of hisfavorite Bible verses is Galatians 2:20 which says, "I have beencrucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God,who loved me and gave himself for me."
Kyle is majoring in Community Development and minoring in YouthMinistry. After graduating from Covenant, he would like to beinvolved in ministry and missions work.
