Was the team captain as a sophomore and received the school's Determination Award during her career... Academically, she received numerous awards including the Art of Learning Award in French, English and Pre-Calculus, and had a national ranking in the National French Concord

Personal: Parents are Verne and Tracy Kern... Has three siblings: Mac, Autumn, and Colin... Favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:31... Plans to major in Psychology and Music with a minor in French... Wants to become a mental health counselor for children and teens with a specialization in music therapy... Has her own coffee mug design that is featured in a local coffee shop in Kentucky
