Hit her first career home run, a two-run shot in a loss at Salem (March 30), to make her one of three Covenant players with a home run on the season... Had seven doubles on the season, with two in a win at Berea (March 4)... Had three hits in a win at Mary Baldwin (March 24)... Was 3-for-3 in steal attempts... Earned USA South All-Academic honors for second time in career
2016 (Sophomore): Played in a career-high 29 games, making 23 starts... Batted .256 with nine runs scored and nine walks on the year... Had three games with two hits... Went 1-for-1 with two runs and two RBIs in a victory over Alverno (March 30)... Was 2-for-3 with two runs and two stolen bases in a win over Berea (Feb. 19)... Threw out two baserunners and committed just two errors on the year
2015 (Freshman): Started 16 games and appeared in 24 overall... Made 27 plate appearances, hitting .273 with a .360 on-base percentage... Also had four runs scored and two RBIs on the year... Went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run against Maryville (March 18)... Also collected two hits in four at-bats with two runs scored at Mary Baldwin (April 11)... Earned USA South All-Academic honors
High School: Attended Water Valley High School... Was team's MVP twice... Made first team All-District all four years... District Offensive MVP... Hit .435 and slugged .635 during her senior year... Also played for the MS Prestige... Earned a spot on the Principal's Honor Roll... Was the Global Issues Problem Solving State Champion
Personal: Parents are Andi and Pierce Epes... Siblings are Tyler and Sydney... Twin sister Tyler is also on the Covenant softball team... Favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 40:31... Majoring in biology... She plans to transfer to Mississipi State once she graduates and get a B.S. and M.S. in Bio-Medical Engineering... She wants to develop a cure for Muscular Dystrophy
