LEXINGTON, Ky. -- For the fourth straight season, Covenant volleyball has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award, announced the organization on Thursday.

To earn the AVCA Team Academic award, a team must maintain a year-long team grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

Covenant volleyball maintained a GPA of 3.49 during the year, placing 12 of their 19 players on the CCS Academic All-Conference list.

On the year, Covenant volleyball went 20-14 (13-3 CCS), and earned a berth to the CCS semifinals.

The Scots will be back in action on August 22 with a pair of exhibition matches against Lee and Carson-Newman in Cleveland, Tenn.
