ATLANTA, Ga. - Covenant traveled to Oglethorpe for their first match after spring break. The Scots and Stormy Petrels battled for over four hours but it was Oglethorpe who eventually came away with a 6-1 victory.

Oglethorpe grabbed momentum early as they took number one and two doubles to take a 1-0 lead. At number one, Sam Wasko and Jefferson Page took down the Scots top duo of Ben Onufrock and Caleb Domkowski 6-2. They clinched the doubles point at line two as Kellen Simmons and Figge Pernfors defeated Brock Boehling and Graham Hayes 6-2.

The Scots were able to pick up a doubles victory at number three as Gavin Patton and Lincoln Shine beat Tyler Hymel and Callum Searle 6-3. 

Covenant responded in singles as Onufrock dominated Simmons at the one spot, by a score of 6-4, 6-1. Oglethorpe retook the lead as Pernfors defeated Hayes 6-3, 6-4. In the number two slot, Oglethorpe's Bailey Raymond outlasted Domkowski 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 to put the Petrels one match away from the win. 

Oglethorpe got the clinch at number five singles as Noah George beat Jacob Eldridge 6-1, 6-4. Patton battled mightily in the four slot but was ultimately bested by his high school friend Wasko 6-3, 6-7(2), 10-8. In the final match of the day, Shine was defeated by Zack Raymond 6-1, 6-3.

The Scots remain in Atlanta for a doubleheader tomorrow against Berry and Emory.
