BREVARD, NC. - Covenant traveled to North Carolina for a non-conference matchup with Brevard, where the Scots generated plenty of chances, but ultimately couldn't keep pace with the Tornadoes. The result marked Brevard's first win in the series since 1999.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
- Covenant came out firing in the opening 13 minutes with five shot attempts, including two each from Jackson Bostrom and Sawyer Felton, but couldn't capitalize.
- Brevard struck first in the 14th minute, with Roi Abutbul putting the Tornadoes on top 1-0.
- The Tornados doubled their advantage in the 31st minute as Leonardo Zabeu found the back of the net.
- At the half, Brevard had outshot Covenant 11-8
- Will Hall scored Brevard's third goal of the game at the 58-minute mark as he used his head to put it up 3-0.
- After a Covenant foul, Brevard put the cherry on top as Caue Santos scored on a free kick well outside the box.
- The Scots created several quality chances in the second half but were unable to get one to fall, ultimately falling by a four-goal margin.

- Covenant moves to 13-2-2 all-time against Brevard.
- Brevard outshot Covenant 20-17 while putting nine on goal to the Scots' three.
