LAGRANGE, Ga. - The Scots had one more chance to play together as a team as they visited LaGrange for their final game of the year. Covenant was right there with a minute to go, but it was LaGrange who had the ball fall its way late to take the win.Â

FIRST QUARTER:
- Amanda Neff and Hannah Eidson each scored a basket in the paint early on to put Covenant ahead 4-2.Â
- The Panthers scored the next five points, which included a triple to take a 7-4 lead.Â
- Breezy Savage made two 3-pointers late in the quarter to tie the game at 12.Â
- Four made foul shots by LaGrange put it on top 16-12.
 SECOND QUARTER:
- Lucy Benson converted a 3-pointer on Covenant's first possession to bring her team back within one point.Â
- Covenant kept it a one-possession game for the next several minutes before taking the lead at the 3:45 marker on an inside basket by Faith Wasden.
- Wasden scored again, this time an old-fashioned 3-point play to put the Scots up 26-24.Â
- LaGrange scored 10 points in just over two minutes, including a 3-pointer with 10 seconds remaining to take a 34-30 lead into the locker room. Â
 THIRD QUARTER:
- Neff had the first points of the half, but LaGrange responded with a 9-0 run to extend its lead to double-digits for the first time at 43-32.Â
- Savage ended the run with a 3-pointer with 3:45 left in the quarter.Â
- The Scots scored four free throws the remainder of the period to stay within 10 points going into the fourth quarter.Â
 FOURTH QUARTER:
- LaGrange opened the scoring, but then a 3-pointer from Neff sparked a 7-0 run for herself to get Covenant within four points at 50-46.Â
- Baskets by Witt and Neff tied the game at 52 with 4:07 remaining.Â
- LaGrange outscored Covenant 11-5 in the final four minutes to clinch the win, with all of LaGrange's points coming from the foul line.
GAME NOTES:Â
- Covenant moves to 7-25 all-time against LaGrange.
- Savage and Neff led the Covenant offense as both players had 15 points.Â
- Witt brought home 14 rebounds to go along with her six points.Â
- Wasden tallied a career-high nine points.
- Covenant was 34.5% (19-55) from the field and 30% (6-20) shooting 3-pointers while LaGrange was 30.9% (17-55) and 18.8% (3-16) in the same categories.Â
- The Panthers shot 41 free throws and made 26 while Covenant was 61.9% (13-21) at the foul line.Â
