ATLANTA, Ga. - The Collegiate Conference of the South released the Preseason Poll for Women's Basketball on Tuesday afternoon as Covenant was picked to finish seventh in the league standings. Voting was conducted by Head Coaches from the nine schools in the conference.Â
The Scots are set to begin year two under Head Coach
Tonya McIntosh on November 13 at home against Pensacola Christian. A year ago, the Scots finished 9-15 and 5-11 in CCS play to place seventh in the CCS Standings.Â
Covenant returns two starters from last year's team in senior guard
Hannah Eidson and senior forward
Amanda Neff, who will look to be leaders for McIntosh's team. Other returning players include
Ora Hall,
Emma Kaye Fuller,
Cair Canady, and
Alyssa Freeman.Â
There are seven new freshmen for Covenant and one transfer,
Chloe Bertrand, who scored 15 points in Covenant's Division I exhibition at College of Charleston on Monday.Â
