LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Covenant returned to Barnes P.E. Center on Saturday for a CCS Tri-Match against Belhaven and Wesleyan. The Scots didn't take either team lightly, sweeping both the Blazers and the Wolves to move to 6-2 in CCS play.Â
Game 1 Final: Covenant 3, Belhaven 0
Records: Covenant (9-10, 5-2 CCS), Belhaven (7-13, 2-5 CCS)
The Scots didn't have much trouble in the first two sets, taking those 25-19 and 25-14. Belhaven fought to the end in set three, but Covenant held off the late comeback to win 25-23 and earn the sweep.Â
Covenant had nearly twice as many kills than Belhaven at 40-21. Defensively, the Scots had 10 total blocks to the Blazers five.Â
Cali Sandhoff posted her third triple-double of the year to lead Covenant with 15 assists, 10 kills, and 10 digs. Scarlett Martz had a strong game offensively with nine kills while keeping a .500 hitting percentage.
Covenant moves to 8-2 all-time against Belhaven.Â

Records: Covenant (10-10, 6-2 CCS), Wesleyan (1-10, 1-7 CCS)
Using a variety of different lineups, Covenant dominated each set, winning 25-11, 25-11, and 25-13.Â
Kills were in Covenant's favor 36-9 while Covenant also had a 13-4 advantage in service aces. On the defensive side, the Scots totaled 56 digs to Wesleyan's 28.Â
Lauren Niemeyer led the Covenant attack with eight kills on a .400 hitting percentage. Amber Snook also had an impactful match with 18 assists.Â
Covenant remains unbeaten all-time against Wesleyan with 22 wins.Â
