CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - After Tropical Storm Helene made Scotland Yard unplayable, the Scots moved their game against LaGrange to Chattanooga Christian's turf field. Covenant didn't let the new service change its strong play as it picked up a 2-0 win.

Records: Covenant (6-2, 2-0 CCS), LaGrange (2-4-3, 0-1 CCS) 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• AnnaLi Weekley had a great chance for the Scots in the seventh minute, but her shot in front of goal missed high. 
• Rachel Wall gave Covenant the lead in the 13th minute with a headed-shot after a well-placed cross from Weekley on a corner kick. 
• The Scots kept pushing for another goal as Hannah Ford had her shot saved in the 26th minute. 
• With less than a minute left before halftime, Covenant had another corner kick opportunity, but it could not create the goal as it did earlier. 
• Covenant had outshot LaGrange 11-3 at the intermission.
• Emma Anderson scored her first collegiate goal in the 55th minute after a couple of well-placed passes by Emma Riggs and Lila Wiley, both who were credited with assists. 
• Weekley and Mae Pierce each had shots hit the field goal post just above the crossbar in the second half as Covenant looked for a third goal. 
• Scots keeper Bronwyn Kickasola was called into action in the 85th minute and made a save in the bottom left of her goal to secure the clean sheet. 

GAME NOTES: 

• Covenant moves to 17-0-2 all-time against LaGrange.
• The Scots outshot the Panthers 24-5 and had a 13-2 advantage in shots on goal. 
• Corner kicks were in Covenant's favor 10-1.
• LaGrange had a higher foul count at 8-3.

UP NEXT: The Scots travel to Maryville on Tuesday night for a rematch of last year's Conference Championship match.
