DECTAUR, Ga. - Looking to end the season the right way, Covenant had a visit with Agnes Scott. The Scots came out on top to end the year with five conference wins.

FIRST QUARTER:
- With the help of 3-pointers from Breezy Savage and Rilee Smith, Covenant raced out to a 9-2 lead.
- Lucy Benson knocked down a pair of triples to extend the Covenant lead to 15-4.
- Agnes Scott scored the final basket of the quarter to put the score at 15-6.
SECOND QUARTER:
- The Scots kept finding success with the deep ball as Savage and Madison Blevins each buried one to put them up 21-10.
- Savage hit her third triple of the game with 4:38 remaining to put the Scots up 24-12.
- Agnes Scott ended the quarter on a 9-0 run to cut the lead to three points.
THIRD QUARTER:
- Agnes Scott took the lead for the first time after a 6-1 run to open the half put the score at 27-25.
- A 3-pointer by Smith with 3:35 remaining put the Scots back in front 30-29.
- After Agnes Scott jumped back in front for just over a minute, Covenant ended the quarter on a 6-0 run to go up 36-31.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- A 5-0 run for Agnes Scott tied the game at 38.
- Savage converted another triple before Agnes went on a 7-0 run to move up 45-41 with 3:29 remaining.
- Covenant scored five consecutive points, three of which were at the free-throw line to go back up by one point.
- Witt knocked down the dagger 3-pointer with 37 seconds left to put the Scots up 51-47.
- Covenant made the free throws it needed in the final 20 seconds to take home the win.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 20-8 all-time against Agnes Scott.
- Savage scored 12 points and also brought down nine rebounds.
- Witt was also in double-figures with 11 points.
- Megan Rouse posted eight points and nine rebounds. With three blocks today, she moved into first place in program history in blocked shots with 161.
- Benson and Smith each had nine points. Benson also had eight rebounds.
- Covenant shot 34.9% (15-43) from the field and 37% (10-27) from the 3-point line while Agnes Scott was 34% (18-53) shooting and 11.1% (2-18) from behind the arc.
- Covenant won the rebound battle, 40-26.
