LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Covenant hosted Asbury on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Scotland Yard. The Scots used an early goal in both the first and second halves to get the win over the Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Rachel Wall put Covenant in front in the 10th minute, after finding the end of a free kick from Reece Black.
- Asbury immediately came on the offensive attack after play restarted, but Reese Bolton's shot was saved by Lucy Sandhoff.
- Leah Marr had a look on goal in the 36th minute, however her shot flared out right.
- Covenant had a corner kick a few minutes before halftime, but couldn't muster a shot off of it.
- At the half Covenant had five shots and Asbury had four.
- The Asbury goalkeeper fouled Wall in the box, giving Marr a penalty kick opportunity that she didn't waste. Marr blasted the ball into the right side of the net to give Covenant a 2-0 lead.
- Bronwyn Kickasola came in at goalie in the second half and made her first career save in the 74th minute.
- Covenant had three good looks later in the game from Blythe Jelley, Wall, and Black, but the finish was missing for each chance.
GAME NOTES:
- Covenant moves to 5-3 all-time against Asbury.
- Covenant had a 13-10 advantage in shots and had six on goal.
- The Scots had five corner kicks while Asbury had one.
- This is the second consecutive game Marr has scored a penalty kick goal.
UP NEXT: Covenant travels to Berry on Tuesday night. The match is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
