BEREA, Ky. -- The Covenant women's tennis team ended the regular season on a high note with a 9-0 shutout at Berea in USA South action on Tuesday evening.
Covenant (11-9, 6-1 USA South) will be the No. 2 West seed in next week's USA South Tournament. The Scots will face the No. 3 East seed on April 28 in Rome, Ga.
The Scots faced little resistance from Berea (1-8, 1-6 USA South) in the sweep.
Covenant opened the match with a doubles sweep.
Madelyn Savage and
Jess Brown were 8-1 winners over Agnes Dotse and Jaden Johnson at the top flight, while
Nicole Restrepo and
Lauren Carr won 8-0 over CJ Verbeck and Emma Lee Nelson at No. 2.
Anna Logan and
Jordan Lancaster completed the sweep with their 8-2 victory over Stephanie Itumba and Ti Meh at No. 3.
Savage notched a 6-1, 6-1 victory at the No. 1 position in singles over Dotse. Carr, Restrepo, and
Alexis Baker were all straight-set winners at flights two, three, and four, respectively.Â
Logan took a 6-0, 6-1 win over Kaylee Jorgensen at No. 5, while
Dani Rappuhn rounded out the match with her 6-1, 6-0 victory over Meh at No. 6.

Covenant will open the USA South Tournament against the No. 3 East seed (opponent TBD) on April 28 in Rome, Ga.
