ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Covenant volleyball team picked up its second win of the season against Greensboro in the Emory Classic in Atlanta on Friday afternoon.
The win improves the Scots to 2-0 on the season.
Grace Logterman continued her stellar play, recording 10 kills and tallying a .421 hitting percentage. Riley Howe also connected on 10 kills and 12 digs.
Kyla Bailey added seven kills and 15 digs, while Summer Johnson posted six kills. Rachel Bartlett also recorded four kills, 28 assists, and seven digs.
Anna Baldwin earned 13 kills, alongside 10 from Savannah Savage. The Scots ended the night with a .233 hitting percentage.
All three sets were close, with Covenant's largest lead of the match being six points once in the second and third sets. But, the Scots were able to seal the victory in straight sets with scores of 25-21, 25-20, and 25-21.
Greensboro was led by Hailey Stout with 10 kills and 11 digs. Natalie Ronsinski added nine kills, while Mckenzie Norris tallied 30 assists and 13 digs.

Covenant will compete in day two of the Emory Classic tomorrow, Sept. 4. The Scots are set to face Williamette at 10 a.m. and Emory at 3 p.m.
