BREVARD, N.C. -- The Covenant men's soccer match at Brevard on Saturday was postponed due to severe weather in the area that prevented the teams from completing the contest.
Covenant led 1-0 late in the first half before lightning was detected in the area. The weather persisted and the teams were forced to postpone the rest of the match.
A rescheduled date will be announced later.
No statistics will count and the teams will begin their make-up match from the start. Jake Major had scored in the ninth minute to give the Scots a 1-0 lead, assisted by Mercer Stout.
