ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Covenant women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 match to Oglethorpe on Saturday at the Howell Courts.
Oglethorpe (2-0) took one and three doubles with 8-2 decisions before finishing out the sweep 8-1 in the second spot to take a 3-0 lead into singles play.
Masha Lanska played a tough match losing set one 6-3. Lanska then forced Charlotte Disley to work for the 7-5 victory in set number two at three singles. At the four spot Justine Blick played a hard first set before falling 6-4, 6-2. Sara Blauw dropped set number one at five singles 6-1 but forced nine games (6-3) in set number two before losing in straight sets.
Covenant falls to 0-3 on the short season.
UP NEXT
The Scots will welcome Centre on top of Lookout Mountain next Friday with the match beginning at 4 p.m.
