Barbourville, KY- The Lady Scots' volleyball team added two more games to their current five game losing streak after being defeated by Union College and the University of the Cumberlands Saturday afternoon. In the day's first match against Union College, Covenant was beaten in nearly every statistical category, including kills, attack percentage, service aces, and digs. In their second match, the Lady Patriots scored 38 of their total 76 points from Covenant errors while also holding the Lady Scots' attack to a mere 9.6%. Senior setter Joanna McGill tallied 23 more assists on the season, bringing her season total to 270.
Covenant is now 5 games under .500 with a record of 6-11 just past the midway point in the season. They will host Bryan College Tuesday night in a re-match of the September 29th showdown.
