Cedarville, OH - The Scots traveled to Ohio Friday to play in the Cedarville Thanksgiving Tournament, opening play against the host Cedarville Yellow Jackets. Cedarville University, currently ranked #7 in the nation in the NAIA's Division II, held a 5-0 record coming into the game and had a large crowd cheering them on. Despite all this, the Scots jumped on the Yellow Jackets early behind the leadership of senior Chris Hall who had six quick points early on. Hall finished the game with twelve points and six rebounds. It was Cedarville, however, relying on the steady play of their guards and athleticism of their big men, that went on to win the game by a score of 74-47.
The Scots were led in scoring by senior Reed Crosson who scored fifteen points on 3-7 shooting from beyond the arc.
Cedarville was led by 6' 10" senior Daniel Rose who had sixteen points and anchored the defense with six blocks.
