Montreat, NC - The Lady Scots finished regular-season conference play this afternoon with a loss to Montreat College. Losing their third straight match, and their fifth in the last six, the Lady Scots couldn't find a way to cap off regular-season AAC play on a high note as Montreat took four games (23-25, 18-25, 25-21, 21-25) to finish them off.
Freshman Erica Adams finished with fifteen kills, freshman Jessie Jakes finished with ten, and sophomore Shea McBee continued her strong play of late by contributing with thirteen. Freshman Kristin Dahlstrand and junior Joanna McGill each had 21 assists in the match and four players, including freshman Katrina Unglaub (22) and junior Claudia Canales (14), along with Jakes (13) and McGill (14), finished in double-digits for digs.
The loss was a tough one for the Lady Scots as a win would have given them an even record in the AAC. Instead, they fall to 8-10 in conference and to 12-15 overall. They will finish up the regular season when they take on Cumberland University on Monday, November 3rd at 7:00 PM in Lebanon, TN.
