Columbus, KY - A shorthanded Lady Scot squad struggled on the road this afternoon, falling victim to a shutout at the hands of the Lindsey Wilson College Lady Blue Raiders. Missing a number of players, the Lady Scots played well in the first half, leading to just a 1-0 deficit at the half. Covenant head coach Mark Duble commented, "the girls played great in the first half." It was all Lindsey Wilson from there however, as the Lady Blue Raiders were able to score five times in the second half and complete the shutout of the visitors in the process.

Regarding his short-staffed team, coach Duble said, "To say we're battered and beaten is an understatement."

The loss marks the second straight for the Lady Scots after winning their three previous matches. They now hold an overall record of 8-5-2 with just two regular-season matches left on the schedule, the first of which coming on Saturday, November 1st at 1:00 PM when they will face-off against Thomas University in Thomasville, GA.
