Jackson Lenoir was hired in July of 2023 as Assistant Volleyball Coach.

"He brings an extremely high volleyball IQ, a passion for this great game, and a fresh perspective that will benefit our program on and off the court. I'm excited to see him use his gifts to help Covenant Volleyball grow and improve."
Lenoir comes to Covenant after serving as the head coach at Tennessee Southern, an NAIA school in Pulaski,TN for two seasons. He also coached at K2 Volleyball Club during the 2023 club season, an established highly-competitive club program in Knoxville,TN.

"I am thrilled to be relocating back home to the Chattanooga area after being away for so long and to be part of a special place! As the head coach at UTS, Lenoir ran all aspects of the program, including practices, travel, scheduling, budgets, recruiting, and helping student-athletes build character.
In the 2021-22 season, UTS had an overall record of 23-12 under Lenoir's leadership. In 2020-21, his first year at the helm, the Firehawks went 16-9.
During his tenure at UTS, Lenoir coached seven All-Conference players and one All-Region honoree. Outside of volleyball, he was an adjunct instructor for a sports management undergraduate course and helped facilitate game-day operations for home events at UTS.
Prior to his stint at UTS, Lenoir was Interim Head Coach / Assistant Coach at Christian Brothers University, a Division II school in Memphis. While in Memphis, Lenoir was heavily involved in bringing in the biggest recruiting class in school history. On the court, he was instrumental in the development of the hitters.
Additionally, he was a Head Coach for Memphis Volleyball Academy from 2018 to 2020. He was in charge of the 16u and 18u teams.
Lenoir was a former student-athlete himself. He played on the tennis team at Milligan University during undergrad and volleyball at Briar Cliff during graduate school.
At Milligan, Lenoir helped his team to a Conference Championship for the first time in school history. He was also a four-time, First Team All-Conference player and holds the school record for most career wins.
In his volleyball career at Briar Cliff, he helped the team to their best season in school history and their first-ever NAIA Men's National Tournament appearance. He also led the team in hitting percentage (.349) and service aces, while ranking third in total kills.
Lenoir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Milligan, a Master of Arts in Sports Management from Briar Cliff, and a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Christian Brothers.
