Abby Sanders begins her first year with Covenant in 2022-23 as an assistant athletic trainer.
Sanders graduated from Lee in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and was a three-year member of the Flames' women's lacrosse team. She then completed her master's degree in athletic training in 2022.
Prior to Covenant, Sanders did various rotations at UT-Chattanooga with the Mocs' softball program, while also serving at the Lee University Health Clinic, Dalton State College, Bradley Central High School, and Ooltewah High School.
During her playing career, Sanders was a goalie for the Lee women's lacrosse program. An original member of the program, Sanders is the all-time saves leader and in saves per game in program history.
