2024: Was a participant in all six meets for the Scots... Began the year with a 20th-place finish and a 6k time of 21:30.7 at the Mountainside Stride... Had a personal-record time of 28:05.30 in the 8k at the UTC XC Invite to place 24th... Finished 25th at the Conference Championship. 

2023: Competed in all six meets for Covenant... Set a new personal record time of 28:24.5 in the 8k to finish 17th at the Mountainside Stride in Chattanooga... Placed 14th with a time of 29:25.17 at the Mike and Mary Kay Invitational as the Scots finished first place as a team... Finished 16th at the CCS Championship meet.

2022: Raced in all seven meets for the Scots... Made collegiate debut at the Berry College Watermelon Run with a 67th place finish in the 8k... Placed 34th at the North Alabama Showcase with a time of 31:36.9 in the 8k... Completed the 8k in Alexander ASICS Cross Country Invitational in 30:32.7... Set a personal record in the 8k at the CCS Championships with a time of 29:52.3, which placed him 24th... Competed in the NCAA South Region Championships

High School: Attended Pedro Menendez High School... Ran a 15:06 5k and a 5:18 mile

Personal: Parents are Ed and Beth Purtill... Has one brother, Henry... Favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9... Chose Covenant because he loved the Christ-like culture in God's majestic mountains... Mathematic majors who hopes to be a Researcher or Actuary after graduation... Loves the Jacksonville Jaguars and favorite athlete is Brayden Point of the Tampa Bay Lightning
