2024: Competed in all six meets for the Scots... Began the year with a fourth-place finish and a 6k time of 19:55.7 at Covenant's home meet, the Mountainside Stride... Set a new PR and ran the second-fastest 8k time in school history at the UTC XC Invite, finishing the race in 25:50 to place seventh... Helped lead Covenant to a Conference Championship, finishing third at the CCS Meet with an 8k time of 26:49.06... Finished 48th at the NCAA Division III South Region Championship... First Team All-CCS... CCS All-Sportsmanship team.

2023: Raced in all seven meets for Covenant... Was first place and broke a new personal record in the 8k with a time of 26:28.22 at the Mountainside Stride in Chattanooga... Was Covenant's best performer (4th, 27:35.73) at the Mike and Mary Invitational where they finished first place as a team... Placed sixth at the CCS Championship meet... Second Team All-CCS honoree... CCS All-Sportsmanship Team representative.

2022: Competed in all seven meets for the Scots... Placed sixth at the UNG Invitational 8k with a time of 27:07.3... Posted a personal best time in the 8k with a time of 26:48.3 at the North Alabama Showcase... Finished 4th at the CCS Championships in the 8k, completing the race in 26:44.4 to break his personal best for the second time this season... Finished 51st at the NCAA South Region Championships, which was the best finish by any Covenant runner... First Team All-CCS honoree

2021-22 (Freshman): Ran in all seven cross country meets... Earned second team All-USA South honors with a 14th place finish and personal record time of 27:10.7 at the USA South Championships (Oct. 30)... Was named USA South Rookie Runner of the Week on Sept. 13 after placing 10th overall with a program record 5k time of 16:23.3 at the UNG Invitational (Sept. 10)... Made collegiate debut and placed fourth with a 5k time of 17:45.7 at the Mountaintop Invitational (Sept. 3)... Placed 64th with a time of 27:45.9 at the NCAA South Regional (Nov. 13)

High School: Attended Covenant High School... Helped team to a pair of cross country league championships... Named a team captain... Ran the 1600-meter in 4:26, the 3200-meter in 9:37, and the 5000-meter in 16:15

Personal: Parents are Don and Debbie Mellott... Has three siblings: Ben, Claire, and Kate... Brother, Ben, is also a member of the Covenant cross country and track programs... Favorite Bible passage is Isaiah 53... Majoring in business
